Do any of these statements sound familiar?

This is the year for me to turn my art hobby into a viable source of income.

I'm thinking about renting a booth at a seasonal market or art fair.

I tried selling around the holidays in the past but couldn't find my collectors.

Like a lot of professional artists, I earn more than 50% of my annual art sales income in a 60 day period around the holidays. There is no better time of year to concentrate effort and increase outcomes!

If you are an artist who is ready to make this your best year-end for sales yet, and are looking for guidance to get started, you're in the right place. I'll share everything I know plus we can learn from each other along the way!

"What's in it for me?"

There's so much packed into this one-week online workshop. And, you'll have access to the private Facebook group, where all zoom recordings are shared until December 31, 2025!

Five Live Classes in One Week

  • Live on Zoom Mon–Fri, 12:00 pm ET.

  • ~60 minutes each with Q&A at the end.

  • Can’t make it? Replay posted to the Facebook group the same day.

MON OCT 20 | WHAT TO SELL

You Can't Ride Two Horses With One Butt

Let’s be honest — you can’t sell everything at once, and you’ll drive yourself bananas trying. This session is all about focus — because the clearer your theme, the easier it is for customers to say yes. We’ll cover:

  • Picking a Theme: Why your buyers crave cohesion (even if your brain wants chaos).
  •  Selling in Collections: Why grouping your work makes it look—and sell—better.
  •   Working in Multiples: How to create more art without more burnout.
  •  Bulk Manufacturing: Get your designs on cards, prints, and products the smart way.
  •  Story vs. Looks: The magic formula that keeps collectors coming back.
  •  Small Goods, Big Payoff: Why a few November trinkets can turn into major May sales.
  •  December-Only Moves: Five collector-building tricks that only work once a year.

TUES OCT 21 | HOW TO SELL

Sell a Comb to a Bald Man?

Pricing, planning, and prepping like the pro you are. This session takes the mystery out of making money—and proves you don’t need to underprice yourself to sell (but you do need to know your audience's Q4 ceiling). We’ll cover:

  •   The Price Formula: How to price your work fairly—and why December numbers are different.
  •   Quantities and Preorders: The calm-before-the-chaos method that saves your sanity.
  •   Overflow = Opportunity: How your 2025 leftovers can fuel your 2026 sales.
  •   Online Listings Made Easy: Platforms vs. PayPal—what’s best for your setup.
  •   10-Day Launch Countdown: A social media rhythm that builds buzz and sells art.
  •   Bonus: 50 social media prompts to keep your content merry, bright, and strategic.

WED OCT 22 | WHERE TO SELL

When the Lord Hands You a Biscut, Don't Look For Gravy

You’ve made the art—now let’s get it out there. This day is about finding your best sales outlets and keeping things simple (because simple sells). We’ll cover:

  •   Online Options: Quick tips for listing your work—no tech meltdown required.
  •   Markets & Festivals: How to pick the right ones (and spot a turkey from a mile away) and turn your table into a magnet for buyers.
  •   Invoicing 101: Getting paid quickly without the headache.
  •   Tech Tools: My favorite free QR code generator (because easy customer checkout = more sales).

THU OCT 23 | GUERRILLA MARKETING

Ain't Fancy But It Works!

Forget algorithms, hashtags, and icky sales talk—this one’s about old-fashioned hustle with modern charm. You’ll learn ten creative, unexpected, and totally doable ways to sell your art without relying on online sales or market booths.

Spoiler: you’ll leave this session with at least three “why didn’t I think of that?” ideas you can use before the week’s over.

FRI OCT 24 | DON'T MESS IT UP

Wrap It Up and Cash It In!

Because the sale isn’t over when the paint dries. This final session covers the finishing touches that make you look polished, generous, and profitable—without adding chaos to your holidays. We’ll cover:

  • Picking a Theme: Why your buyers crave cohesion (even if your brain wants chaos).
  •  Favorite Discount Shipping Tools: Easy, cheap, reliable—no post office meltdown required.
  •   The Kiss of Death: One common mistake that kills repeat sales (and how to avoid it).
  •   Extra Touches: Small gestures that make customers feel special and loyal.
  •   Raffles, Giveaways, and Fun: How to turn a sale into a celebration—and a business builder

What if I can't attend the live chats at noon ET?

Is this holiday art sales intensive workshop right for me?

This workshop is for people who:

  • Have an existing body of original artwork and are open to turning out consistent volumes of work on a regular basis (read: you don't need months to finish a single piece).
  • Can see yourself selling art.
  • Are comfortable (or willing to learn to become comfortable) with sharing your work in photos and on social media.
  • Understand that selling your art means some aspects will feel like a job.
  • Want to sell works under $100
  • Are open to new tactics, experiments, and a little bit of theater to boost sales.

This workshop is not for people who:

  • Turn out a low volume of work.
  • Your lowest-price pieces start in the multiple thousands and the phrase “affordable art” makes you itchy.
  • Looking to only rely on third party representation such as galleries, art shows, or agents.
  • Are looking to learn how to make art. (If so, I have some great self-paced e-courses and an online painting membership that may be right for you!)
  • Feel unwilling to share work online or have an online presence.
  • Just want legal or tax advice for your business.

There are a lots of different kinds of art and lots of ways to sell it. This bootcamp is not for everyone. But if the details above sound right for you...let's go!

My Story

I’m Amanda:

Painter, maker, teacher—hi, it’s me. My origin story involves finger painting in a bathtub with leftover chocolate pudding, and frankly I’ve been chasing that vibe ever since. When I paint, my cells do a little jazz square. This is the thing I’m meant to do. It’s my gift, my livelihood, and my privilege—and yes, I fully intend to share it with as many people as possible. (This means you. Put on an apron.) I believe people live better lives in the presence of original art, and I consider it my sacred duty to keep the supply chain flowing. After years of selling and teaching, I can confirm: people who make art regularly are always the happiest in the room. Bonus round: turning that practice into a business? Chef’s kiss. I’m thrilled you’re here—let’s make something gorgeous and a little unhinged.
