Please note – There is no experience or skill level required, however, if you are looking for a lot of kid-geared art projects, this might not be the place. Although most of this content will be considered kid-friendly, I teach these classes with adults in mind.

The Insider’s Studio is for anyone who wants to grow as a person through the art process and have some fun along the way. That means you!

I have a personal vendetta against people offering classes with elaborate and expensive art supply lists. All classes will depend on your having a basic kit:

• Your favorite variety of acrylic paint
• Liquid gesso
• Watercolor paint
• Something to paint on
• Matte medium
• Chip brushes
• Permanent markers
• Paint pens
• Chalk or chalk pastels

Sometimes classes will involve household items or a couple of extra art materials - these will be noted in conjunction with the class. I realize not everyone has the time or budget to run to the art store every week, so I will do my best to stick to the essentials and allow you to use what you already have!

Members will also have access to a list of my favorite brands and supply resources. You never have to buy from it - this is just part of the fun and sharing my favorite sources, bargains, and ways of saving money on supplies.

A whole buncha classes ranging from cloudscapes to disco chickens! Don’t worry if you miss one – all Insider's Studio classes will be available for as long as you are a member. You will never need to "catch up" because every class stands alone. Most classes are around 20-30 minutes and will lead you to a finished work, or demonstrate a technique you can take to your art practice outside the Insider's Studio!

All along the way, my hope is that you will be posting your work, asking questions, and helping others as they progress along their journey too.

2. Monthly membership payment of $24.95 each month, an automatic recurring charge. You will be charged this same amount every month, but you may cancel at any time. The monthly fee will increase for others in the future, but you will only be charged the current price as long as you remain in the Insider's Studio. My goal is to provide you with a constant source of creativity and inspiration, and I appreciate your ongoing support to make it happen!
3. Basic Supply Kit. Most classes will involve your favorite variety of acrylic paint, liquid gesso, watercolor paint, something to paint on, chip brushes, permanent marker, matte medium, paint pens, plastic bags, chalk or chalk pastels. Extra items are noted in the class videos.

2. A minute later, you’ll see an email inviting you to the Insider's Studio course library on the Amanda Evanston Learning website as well as a private Facebook group.
3. For Facebook, follow that link, check off the pinky-swear promises to not be a jerk, and as soon as I see your request I’ll approve it.
4. BOOM! You’ll immediately have access to all current Insider's Studio classes and extras. More stuff will load in every week, so check back often. You’ll also see a weekly email in your inbox with the latest Insider's Studio news, just in case you need a reminder. (I won't spam you!)

You can join and cancel at any time, no pressure, no questions, no biggie. Please note, access to courses and community automatically cease shortly after cancellation (read: pull the trigger when you are ready to go). Please keep in mind, this is a membership and everything is geared as an ongoing program. If you want to take a couple of singular courses over a short period of time, or buy some art classes as a gift, a membership program like this might not be a great fit. There are a lot of great ways to learn how to paint!

Nerp. I’ll use my social media platforms to show you bits and pieces of what I am making and sharing, but Member work is private and exclusive to viewing by other Insider’s Studio Members. Sharing art can be a vulnerable experience and I am going to work hard to create a safe place for sharing. No lurking, please.

No worries! We got you. All of the classes are on a private website you can access with your Amanda Evanston Learning account. However, you will miss the opportunity to share, comment, and exchange ideas with other artist Members if you are not part of the Insider’s Studio Facebook Group. If you aren’t already on Facebook, you are welcome to create a burner account (empty profile with a fake name)...or just bypass the community portion altogether. We get it. Not everyone is into sharing and Facebook can be all kinds of weird.

Yes! Not only am I okay with you selling this work, I will help you do it! You are welcome to sell any paintings you create using techniques learned in my Insider's Studio classes. In fact, I encourage you to share them online using certain hashtags so I can steer my buying audience towards your account. I am fortunate enough to make a living off my art, I'm happy to help you do the same.

That said, please don't try and be sneaky and resell my classes or methodology. That's not cool. And I always find out anyway. Let's support each other in more meaningful ways!

No. Paid content is for paid members. While you may sell art you've created using methods taught in the Insider's Studio, you may not reteach classes (online or in person) or share the methodology taught in these classes via another format (e.g. social media post). Not at this time. All membership payments are automatically charged each month, though, so you won't have to think about it after signing up!

No. All Insider's Studio classes are designed to be 30 minutes or less - The Secret Garden, Art of Abstract Faces and my other Ecourses are multiple hours, deep-dive, longer content, so the videos are not housed in the Insider's Studio library. You can purchase them separately here. There are 370+ classes unique to the Insider's Studio so you'll have plenty to paint once you join!

Insider's Studio classes are geared toward making art, not art sales. However, many members have had success selling in person and online - they are happy to help and exchange ideas and support each other. Additionally, as a member, you will have access to over 370 classes to help you build your repertoire!
